Kerry Washington will make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on Nov. 2, NBC announced Wednesday.
Washington, who stars on ABC’s Scandal, will be joined by Eminem, who returns for a sixth appearance as musical guest.
The announcement comes on the heels of Kenan Thompson telling TVGuide.com that the lack of black female cast members is due to the fact that the show never finds “ones that are ready.”
