EW’s “What to Watch” scoop on Olivia Pope in Episode 16 “Top of the Hour” hurts my soul for the very first time. The Gladiators can’t fix the matters of the heart and there is no one else who can save her from herself. The stolen moments speech probably didn’t work for the future Governor of North Carolina because it damn sure didn’t work for her.
And now Olivia doesn’t even bother to break out the wine glasses. She just drinks straight from a wine bottle and allow the alcohol, aka “truth serum” profess to her former lover, “I’m ruined.”
I’m more concerned for her now than ever. Her strong feelings for the president is why he is fraudulently elected in the first place.
Now what? I’m feeling sad for Olivia and this episode doesn’t air until 7 days from now.
